The Lydie Breeze Trilogy is the pinnacle of John Guare’s career, and EgoPo is proud to be presenting the world premiere production right here in Philadelphia. This three-play American epic traces the story of the Breeze family from the age of Nantucket whaling, through Civil War battlefields, to the creation (and destruction) of an American Utopian community, and the dawning of the 20th century. Let the watery landscapes of set designer Marketa Fantova, the haunting music of Obie Award-winning composer Cynthia Hopkins, and a cast of 25 actor/musicians, take you on a journey through Guare’s immersive theatrical world.
